Bristol activists blockade Elbit contractors
Workers at logistics provider DSV were “very supportive”, say organisers

Disarm Bristol says a group of almost 40 protesters this morning blockaded the gates of DSV Road, a logistics and transport company contracted by Israeli weapons giant Elbit Systems.
Protesters held banners saying “DSV Drop Elbit” and “Disarm Bristol Now”, and prevented truck deliveries to the site for 3 hours.
According to the group, “after initial confusion and confrontation, workers at the site were very supportive” of the action once it was explained to them.
Today’s blockade follows a string of actions against DSV in multiple countries. The company in 2024 replaced a Switzerland-based logistics giant, which cut ties with Elbit as a result of continued pressure from direct action groups.
“You can crack down on peaceful protest in order to protect the arms trade, but people will always continue resisting, because it is right”, said a participant.
